Cory Finley

President

Demon Oilfield Services was founded by Cory Finley in 2005.  After several years in the oil industry and enduring two separate buyouts, Cory's entrepreneurial spirit and vision for Demon was initiated.  Cory brings the DEMON DIFFERENCE to work every day through his leadership and drive to succeed.  Demon has grown tremendously over the years, expanding across Western Canada and continually gathering market share from its competitors.

Under Cory's leadership not only has the company grown, but it has developed a reputation for excellence.  Attracting and retaining quality people as well as producing exceptional equipment and customer service standards continue to drive business.  Cory's involvement in the communities where Demon is present is seen through his support of local charities, sports and agricultural groups.

 

Mark Deyell

Business Development Manager

Mark is an experienced energy industry business development representative with nearly 10 years of diverse oilfield experience. His career has been focussed on completions services including production testing, wireline and service rigs throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. Prior to joining the Demon Oilfield Team, Mark worked as senior sales representative with the 3rd largest land based drilling company in the world, marketing their well servicing division. Mark thrives on building relationships and takes a hands on approach to resolving issues and maintaining customer satisfaction. Away from work, Mark is an avid sports fan, particularly of the NFL and former professional hockey player.

 

Raymond Johannson

Senior Operations Manager

Ray Johannson comes to us with over 30 years of knowledge and experience directly in the well testing industry. He has spent many years in the field on all different scales of jobs, from pipeline work to big pad work completions. Ray also has an extensive management career with international companies working primarily in Canada as well as the United States. His “roll up the sleeves” approach is instrumental in his success within our corporation.

 

Marshal Petersen

Assistant Operations Manager

Marshal Petersen covers the role of  Assistant Operations Manager for Demon Oilfield Services. Marshal brings over 16 years of operational experience in testing and flowback operations across the Alberta and British Columbia WCSB. Having supervised large-scale projects focused on efficiency and safety;  Marshal has successfully transitioned from fieldwork to office in January 2024, applying his extensive expertise in optimizing operational workflows and team performance. His dedication to innovation and excellence continues to drive his contributions towards the company's strategic goals.

 

Steve Palechek

Heating Division Manager

Steve Palechek has worked for Demon Oilfield for over 8 years with over 15+ years of experience in heating both in commercial applications and oilfield as well.  He has to date helped to design and implement our heating division program including designing the new Rojo Diablo Mega Heaters and training our heating personnel.  As a certified power engineer, his wealth of knowledge and experience in the heating field has made Steve an asset to our team by driving our heating division to the next level.   

 

Shane Konrad

HSE Manager

Shane Konrad, Demon Oilfield's HSE Manager, began his career on Well Service Rigs in mid 1997 working throughout Western Canada where he progressed to driller operator status late 2004. Introduced to Occupational Health and Safety in mid 2019, where he obtained a Safety Advisor role in 2021 with previous company. Shane came to Demon Oilfield Services in 2023 as the company's HSE Manager bringing with him his 20+ years of direct oilfield knowledge and experience. Shane currently continues his studies striving towards completion of OHS certification towards CRST, CRSP designations.

 

Dakota Johnson

USA Heating Division Manager

Dakota brings with him 14 years of “Boots on the ground” experience in both management and applicable working knowledge of a wide range of oil and gas processes, From Hydraulic/Nitrogen/CO2 Fracturing and well bore cement/packers to the Demon operations. Dakota has a wealth of knowledge and acquaintances within the industry as he has worked in multiple formations both within the United States and abroad, both focused and goal oriented to achieve any task at hand. His focus towards achieving excellent results for both our clients and Demon Oilfield's culture alike drives our USA division to the next level. 

 

Mandy McCoy

Controller

Mandy McCoy, Demon Oilfield's Controller shares with the company over ten years of accounting experience working across multiple industries, including oil and gas services, energy services, marketing, and agriculture tech. She recently completed her Bachelor of Commerce Accounting degree and is working on her CPA designation. She is passionate about her professional skills with a team-centered approach to support goals that execute the company's success.

Her career started in Edmonton with an oil and gas services company supporting operations in project accounting while continuously growing her skills and knowledge throughout the years in the energy service and marketing industry. In her previous role at an agriculture tech company, she established and maintained internal controls, policies, and procedures to optimize operational insights.

In her free time, she enjoys rock and ice climbing, hiking, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mandy's continued focus on finances, teamwork and company trajectory keeps Demon Oilfield Services on a straight path to success.

 

Lindsey Kater

Saskatchewan Operations Manager

Lindsey Kater, Saskatchewan's Operations Manager for Demon Oilfield Services. Lindsey started his career in the Oil and Gas in 2006 starting with Weatherford Canda where he began working as a operator for a under balance drilling project in the south east Sask. He then moved over to join the Demon team in 2010, Where he furthered his knowledge in testing and in short time was supervising jobs such as, Swabbing, Clean-out's, Fractures, flowbacks and various different operations. Lindsey's began managing Saskatchewan Operations for Demon in 2021 but still enjoys getting out in the field to work when he can.
